The X-MET8000 is ready to measure when you need information about the elemental composition and grade (commercial quality) of a metal alloy for scrap sorting or positive material identification (PMI). In addition, factory calibration ready for immediate measurement is available for applications such as plastics, wood, coatings, RoHS, PIMA, and mining. The elemental concentrations of your samples are immediately visible in the X-MET user interface, on your computer screen, or on your phone screen using the ExTOPE app. If necessary, the analytical accuracy of factory calibrations can be improved by using your own samples with known elemental concentrations. If no suitable factory calibration is available, the calibration can be performed entirely with your own sample set.
